Shipping & Delivery PolicyThank you for supporting my shop! I carefully package every order from my studio in England. Below you will find everything you need to know about how your yarn will travel to you.
United Kingdom & Channel Islands
Single Skein Orders: Sent via Royal Mail Large Letter. Multi-Skein Orders: Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 Small Parcel. Delivery Time: Typically 2–3 working days after dispatch. Note: Shipping to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands is fully supported at standard domestic UK rates with no additional customs paperwork required.
United States Customers (Tariff & Compliance Note)
How It Ships: All US orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked. Tariff Processing: To comply with recent US trade guidelines and structural carrier fees, a 10% local tariff handling fee is calculated dynamically and included in your final checkout shipping total. Import Fees: This upfront buffer helps ensure smooth transit through US Customs, meaning your package should arrive directly at your door without unexpected delays.
Rest of the World (Excluding the EU)
Available Destinations: I gladly ship to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Norway, Switzerland, and many other global destinations. How It Ships: International orders are shipped via Royal Mail International Tracked. Single skeins travel via International Large Letter, while larger orders switch to International Parcel rates.Customs Duties & Taxes: Please note that international orders may be subject to local import duties, customs taxes, or carrier inspection fees once they reach your destination country. These local charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
European Union (EU) Customers
Important Notice: I am currently unable to ship orders to the European Union (EU) due to localized trade restrictions. If your delivery address is within an EU member state, the checkout system will securely prevent the order from completing. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to my European knitting community!
Domestic Delivery
Orders send via Royal Mail Tracked 48 usually arrives within 2-3 working days of your order being dispatched. All orders have tracking number which you will receive via email once your order has been dispatched.
International Delivery
All international orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked and have a flat rate of £10.00.
Orders placed within Europe usually arrive within 3-5 working days.
Orders placed within United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Rest of the World orders usually arrive within 5-7 working days.
Customs and extra fees
Orders shipped outside the United Kingdom may be liable to taxes, duties and customer charges and extra fees charges by the courier company at destination. This also applies to free shipping orders. Payment will need to be made by the recipient and we cannot be held responsible for any charges once the package has been shipped. Please note that customer process might incur further delays.
